Our Story:
"2 Kings" symbolizes the relationship between a father and son. Our motivation for establishing this enterprise stems from our three-decade long friendship and our commitment to leaving a lasting inheritance for our children. As responsible fathers, we place great emphasis on the importance of intergenerational wealth and financial education.
Our mission is to change the perception of specialty coffee by promoting it in a socially conscious way and including underrepresented communities, particularly black and brown people. We invite you to discover the exceptional taste and culture of Memphis, TN through our carefully roasted coffee.
Our Coffee:
Whether you prefer using a filter, a percolator, or a French press, there’s no denying the delicious earthy taste of high-quality brewed coffee!
Unlike instant coffee, coffee grounds don’t dissolve into a cup of boiling water. Instead, the coffee beans undergo a brewing process where hot water is poured over the beans, and the flavor of the beans is extracted and collected in a pot or carafe.
The coffee beans are placed in a filter, and the hot water is poured through the filter. The coffee is then brewed while the water seeps through the filter, leaving behind only the used beans and some of the coffee’s oils and essences. The result is a wonderful light coffee that’s easy to drink throughout the whole day.

How to brew a perfect cup of coffee...
Drip
Drip coffee brewing involves pouring hot water in your drip coffee maker; over freshly roasted, ground coffee enclosed in a filter.
1. Grind or use your fresh 2 Kings ground coffee.
2. Add water to the Drip coffee maker.
3. Start with fresh, cold water and measure the cup/s of coffee.
4. Place the filter in the coffee maker.
5. Add your 2 Kings PremiumCoffee.
6. Start the brew.
French Press
Made of glass and metal, a french press coffee maker involves slowly stirring ground coffee to the bottom of the carafe for a rich full body finish
1. Grind or use your fresh 2 Kings ground coffee.
2. Using a kettle bring water to a boil.
3. Add fresh ground coffee to the French press.
4. Pour the hot water over the coffee.
5. Stir it a little, and cover it with the top. Do not press down the plunger.
6. Leave the coffee to brew for 7 minutes.
7. Carefully press the plunger down, pushing the coffee grounds to the bottom of the French press.
Cold Brew
Cold Brew is an iced coffee, made when coffee grounds are steeped in cold water for an extended period of time. Then strained over ice.
1. Coarsely grind your fresh 2 Kings whole beans.
2. Combine your coarsely ground coffee with cold water.
3. Cover and steep for 12 to 24 hours
4. Once the coffee has been brewed, strain it with your chosen filter.
